When you work with an in-network contractor, they will complete the eligible electrical upgrade work and claim the rebate directly from the Charge Ready Home program on your behalf. This means you do not need to submit a self-claim after the project is completed.

Get Multiple Estimates

Important Coverage Exclusions
The rebate does not cover:
- The cost of the EV charger itself
- Properties where the electrical panel is shared with another residence
- Any costs exceeding the approved rebate amount
If your project cost is greater than the rebate amount, you will be responsible for paying the difference directly to the contractor.
